Google Pixel 7 | Unboxing & Full Tour

Unboxing Google's Pixel 7 flagship smartphone, with a hands-on review of the gaming performance, camera tech and more. The Pixel 7 hits the UK in October from £599, although much of the hardware, from that primary camera sensor to most of the specs, are similar vs the old Pixel 6. Here's my early impressions, photo samples, game experience and more ahead of my full review!

This is one of the best compact smartphones of 2022 so far, and one of the greatest value flagships too. It's not much of an upgrade, but it's an enjoyable all-round Android 13 experience plus some of my favourite run-and-gun camera action. At this price, the Pixel 7 beats most rivals for photo capture, day or night, while also now boasting a more miniature form factor.

My early experiences with gaming on the Google Pixel 7 have been mixed, but recent updates have improved the situation, so stay tuned for that review for a full update. Battery life is strong and the software gets a big thumbs up. Face unlock at last, hooray!
