In this video, I asked to ChatGPT to extract the corresponding full names of the locations based on the left three-letter codes in cells A2:A29 using the IFS function.

To accomplish this, a formula that checks if the left three letters of each cell in the range A2:A29 match any of the seven codes we want to extract. If a match is found, the formula returns the corresponding full name of the location. If no match is found, the formula returns an empty string.

The IFS function is a powerful conditional function in Excel that allows you to test multiple conditions and return a result based on the first condition that is true. It can take up to 127 conditions and results. By using this formula, we can quickly and easily extract the full names of locations based on their three-letter codes, which can be useful in a variety of scenarios, such as data analysis or data entry.

Overall, the IFS function is a handy tool for performing complex conditional operations in Excel, and this formula is an example of its usefulness in extracting specific information from a range of data.
