The most common Shark found in Palau is the grey reef shark, known locally as Mederart. They can be found at most dive sites like Blue Corner and Ulong Channel. In strong currents, divers can hook in on steep drop offs and sit back while the grey reef sharks cruise right by you, friendly and not very skittish at all. If you’re lucky, you may even get to see them hunt during the day!
