Shiraz City Tour: Historic District(Sang e Siah) - محله سنگ سیاه شیراز
Sang-e Siah Neighborhood is one of the old neighborhoods of Shiraz City in the Historic District.
The reason why this Neighborhood is called Sang-e Siah or Dark Stone in Persian is because of the black granite existing in the foundation of this Neighborhood, and also, a foursquare black stone that is found in the vicinity of the Sibouye Tomb.
Sibouyeh Shirazi is one of the Iranian scientists who died in Shiraz in 180 AH.(801 AC). There are many historical places such as Forough Al-Molk House, Saadat House, Armenian Church, Bibi Dokhtaran Tomb, etc., as well as old alleys and arches in this Neighborhood. You can also find many traditional cafes, restaurants, and hotels in this neighborhood. If you are planning to travel to Shiraz City, I think this is one of the neighborhoods that give off pure Old Shiraz vibes.

این محله و همچنین وجود سنگ سیاه چهار گوشی است که در محوطه آرامگاه سیبویه قرار دارد. سیبویه شیرازی یکی از دانشمندان ایرانی میباشد که در سال 180 هجری قمری در شیراز از دنیا میرود. مکان های تاریخی زیادی همچون خانه فروغ الملک، خانه سعادت، کلیسای ارمنی ها، بقعه بی بی دختران و... و همچنین کوچه ها و طاق های قدیمی در این محله وجود دارد. کافه ها و رستوران های و هتل های سنتی زیادی رو هم میتونید در این محله ببینید. اگر قصد سفر به شیراز رو دارید به نظرم یکی از محله هایی که میتونه حس ناب شیراز قدیم رو بهتون بده این محله هست.
