Vegan Meatless Stew Peas |Jamaican Style

Stew peas is one of the many popular dishes in Jamaica and also the entire Caribbean .Made with kidney beans it i fully flavored with seasonings, coconut milk and spinners (dumplings) this meatless stew is high in protein and make a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients
1 .1/2 Cup kidney beans
2 Cups water(to pressure cook peas)
2 Cups coconut milk
1 Scotch bonnet pepper
2 Stalk Scallion
2 Clove Garlic
2 Tsp Salt
10 Pimento Berries
1 Vegetable Bouillon
1 Large carrot
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp Grated Ginger
1 Stalk Thyme
1 Medium Onion
1 Large Sweet pepper (Bell Pepper)
Directions
Rinse beans then pressure cook with 2 cups water and salt for 15-20 minutes or until desired softness.
knead dough for spinners add to pot.
Add thyme,pimento, bouillon carrot, scotch bonnet pepper. sweet pepper and ginger and simmer down for another 15 minutes.
