DINE N DASH - Gil & John (Raphael Illes)

A couple of years ago I had the chance to play again with some of my teenage best friends during a drum clinic in Paris and we decided back then that we should try to meet again and write some music together. That finally happened so Raphael Illes (saxophone) and Guillaume Marin (bass) joined me in my small studio in Sweden and this is one of the pieces we made. Raphael wrote the music and we arranged it together. It was so refreshing for me finally to be able to play again something else than rock and metal! I felt a bit rusty at first but the pleasure of playing with such great musicians and friends took over rather quickly!
