At Christmas 1476, in the snowy streets of Bucharest, the capital of Romania, a tragic event marked history forever. It was the epic end to the life of Vlad Dracul, known as Dracula. The air was thick with tension as the dark fate of this legendary figure prepared to unfold.
Vlad Dracul, the merciless warrior, was cruelly murdered, betrayed by his own allies. His lifeless body lay in front of the majestic gates of Bucharest Castle. But, that wasn't enough for those seeking to prove his death. They committed a macabre act by cutting off his head, the ultimate symbol of defeat. However, their desire to show his end did not stop there.
The skin on his face was delicately removed, revealing a frozen expression of defiance and courage. Vlad's hair and the skin of his face, impregnated with cotton and spices, were carefully prepared for their ultimate destination: the Turkish sultan. He received them as a trophy, a sign of victory over the impaler. The Sultan, not wanting to forget this confrontation with the Prince of the Vlachs, decided to expose them on a stake, proudly erected as a warning to others.
