Made by the BBC, in two parts, this film looks at the struggle to build the ultimate car and follows the efforts of Richard Noble and his team to reach supersonic speeds in Thrust SSC. But the first speed test, staged in the Jordanian desert, is beset with technical problems and other difficulties stemming from the intense heat....
