In this video Phil and Brad are demonstrating another great DIY trick for renovating your stairs and staircases.
If you have stairs that are loose and are creaky and squeaky we have two methods that you can use separately or conjunction with each other to rectify this problem.
This is particularly useful if you can't gain access to the underneath of your staircase, which is very common.
The first method is to use a PVA and water mix, and pour this down the gap between the stair rise and the stair tread. Leave for 24 hours to harden and this will glue the two together.
The second method is to use to pilot and screw the edge of your stair tread down to the riser, ensure you countersink your screws for a perfect flooring finish.
