Tune Up on 500E Series 140cc Briggs & Stratton Bolens By MTD Push Lawn Mower
This video is a guide to a full Tune up with no new parts. We clean and wash everything, then reassemble the mower. Its a true penny pinchers guide to lawn mower maintenance.
I took in a Briggs & Stratton 500 Series E 140cc Bolens by MTD 21 inch push Lawn Mower today that wouldn't start for the customer. It rattled around in the back of the truck for a day and then started for me once I gave it a few good pulls. I decided to give it a good tune up including washing the Air Filter, Flushing the Fuel System, Changing the Oil, Cleaning the Spark Plug, Cleaning the Carburetor and Sharpening the Blade.
