Eji Navrojna din sohaamña
(On the Marvelous day of Navroz)
Shri Hari kaayam shikaar ramva van gaya
(the Manifestation of God went to the forest on a hunting expedition)
Sevakna man thaya udaasi
(The heart of His servant was saddened)
Praañ Hari charñe rahya
(but his heart remained at the feet of God)

Eji Shri kaayam preete jo chint baandhi
(With my mind fixed upon my Love for the Lord of the Resurrection)
Narne preete ame van gaya
(I went to the forest in my love for the Lord)
Eva van sohaamña shri Saheb ditha
(In the forest of marvels I beheld the Lord)
Dil dai Devta rahya
(who ever Divinely bestowed me an audience)

Eji Bhalu(n) thayu(n) Sahebe soomat aali
(Oh how good it was to receive the Blessing of God!)
Shri Hari kaayam saathe ramva ame van gaya
(I went to the forest to wander with the God of the Resurrection)
Anant aasha puri hamaari
(My untold hopes were all fulfilled)
Dev dil bhaave gamya
(The Lord delighted my heart)

Eji Bhai re moman tame bhaave aaraadho
(O Brother-believer, Worship Him with feelings)
Bhañe Shamsi tame saambhlo rukhi
(Shamsi Sayyid Fatehali says: listen, O believer)
Sahebna gooñ nahi visaare, Tena praañ nahi thaashe dukhi
(Those who don’t forget the virtues of the Master will never experience sorrow in their hearts)
