If you're looking for a classic Turkish delight recipe that's easy to make and doesn't require any coloring, this is the recipe for you! This Turkish delight recipe is made with simple ingredients, you likely already have in your kitchen, and it's perfect for a sweet treat with a cup of Turkish coffee. I will also flavor my lokum mix with rose flavoring and with hazelnuts. It comes out so delicious you will not stop yourself from eating :) Just follow the simple steps in this recipe and you'll have a delicious Turkish delight that you can enjoy at home!  
Ingredients Form Turkish delight LOKUM:
For the syrup
700gr. 3+1/2 cups sugar
300ml water
2 tsp lemon juice
For the starch base:
100gr. starch (less then 1 cup)
600ml water
1 tsp cream of tartar
For the pan:
baking paper and oil to brush
To flavor and shape:
roasted whole hazelnuts or pistachios or
natural rose water + rose petals if you have (could be organic fresh minced with sugar, or dried)
about 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp starch
