Nasim Khushnawaz, rubab - Ay meri Zohra jabeen

Nasim Khushnawaz is a most excellent rubab player, heir to the legacy of Ustad Rahim of Herat. This impromptu was filmed at Jalal Amini's workshop in Mashhad, a fine rubab and dutar maker and player. Nasim is trying out a rubab and plays the filmi song Aye meri zohra jabeen, from Bollywood film 'Waqt', based on a composition of Ustad Abdul Ghafoor Breshna (also known as the song Modati shod ke to ra).
