Iran has launched its third satellite into orbit. The satellite weighs just 110 pounds and will orbit 15 times a day at an altitude of up to 234 miles along an elliptical path. It is designed to collect data on weather conditions and monitor for natural disasters. The satellite will remain in orbit for about two months.
