YALDA South Africa i-Boot Camp 2024 Highlights
The Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA) in collaboration with the AfCFTA Secretariat, Afreximbank, International Trade Centre (ITC), United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) successful implemented its young entrepreneurs in trade training programme also known as its biennial i-Boot camp from 21st to 25th February 2024, at the Future Africa Centre at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
In line with YALDA’s AfCFTA campaign “Umoja Africa Campaign – Youth Contributing to the Implementation of the AfCFTA”, which uses various avenues to create awareness on the concepts, benefits and opportunities that are available to youth through regional integration and intra-Africa trade, the 2024 edition of the i-Boot camp was held under the theme “Breaking Information Barriers on Intra-Africa Trade: Accelerating Youth Inclusiveness in Implementing the AfCFTA".
