Just a normal evening stroll down Karrada in Baghdad. I’ve walked this street many times and always get stopped by people for a chat! I love the whole atmosphere here, especially at night ! I feel safer here walking than I do in many places … I hope that comes across in this vlog. Crossing the busy roads is even a breeze! It was soooo hard to cut this down , there were so many other interactions that happened along the way ! All positive! I wouldn’t feel safe walking the streets in other places at night like here! I don’t want people thinking this is a dangerous place as it’s absolutely not at all! Quite the opposite actually! People are so happy to see a tourist! So again , I can’t say it enough times , iraq is safe , if a solo female with blonde hair can come here and enjoy myself and feel so welcomed , then anyone can !
