Lion Attacks Impala
An impala is hunted and killed by a lioness from the Tsalala Pride at Londolozi Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park. Once the impala had been killed, she called her young cubs to join the feeding. Lions are not as fast as cheetahs, but the lioness in this video shows a nice burst of speed when she goes for the kill and grabs a fast impala. Once in its grasp, the impala is killed almost instantly. After making a kill, a lioness can be seen holding the dead impala in her mouth, before dropping it to the ground for a few seconds to catch her breath, and eventually grabbing the dead animal again. A late-night dinner for this pride of lions is always a nice gathering when all the members of the pride gather around the table to eat a freshly killed impala.

In this incredible wildlife sighting, two powerful male lions hunt and kill a lone buffalo in Kruger Park. It takes all their strength to make the kill, as the cape buffalo shows that he is also extremely powerful, dragging the felines into the water before they finally manage to take the animal down.
