The Future of European Defense and Security
Since the establishment of the European Union, the continent has experienced its longest continued period of peace. That is—until Russian forces invaded Ukraine in 2022. Speakers in this session considered the state of play in the EU and NATO, where the war in Ukraine and European security challenges loom large.
