Special recipes on Bakra Eid Recipe Collection or Eid-ul-Adha Recipes is an important aspect of our Culture and main stay of our Bakra Eid Celebration. Everyone makes traditional and delicious Eid recipes during the days of Eid.
I have tried to compile couple of most famous, delicious and my personal favorite Pakistan & Indian Eid-ul-Adha recipes.
Eid ul Adha is always a special day because of Qurbani, Hajj and at the same time it is also special day for foody or food lovers since there are so many traditional recipes cooked during these days.
Bakra Eid Breakfast or Lunch is always with Bakray ki Kaleji (Goat Liver) and sheer khurma brings the traditional Eid sweetness on the 1st Eid day.
Eid Dinners/Nights, there are a lot of gatherings and cooking, typically families and friends gather together at Eid nights and usually they not only eat together, THEY COOK TOGETHER and the most famous dish they cook is Mutton Raan Roast.
Eid Raan is the most prestigious part of goat which are kept for very close special family members relatives. During the qurbani ritual, families specially request the butchers to separate the whole Raan piece for this special people or special parties.
Mutton Raan Roast is a signature Eid ul Adha recipe and it has always been the main entertainer during the Bakra Eid Dinners on the roof tops or the backyards. Cooking it actually is equally flavorful and enjoyable as eating. It is terribly delicious, tender juicy and amazingly fun cooking together. It goes very well with with Naan, Kulcha, Roti and different type of salads and chutneys/dips like yogurt garlic dip, tamarind mint dip, raita, imli chutney, podina Mint chutney.

Mutton Kalegi Ingredients:
Oil (Khanai ka Tail)      ½ cup
Bay Leaf (Patta)      1
Clove (Laung)      4
Black Pepper (Sabat Kali Mirch)      5-6
Cumin Seeds (Zeera)      1 tbsp
Ginger Paste (Adrak Paste)      1 tbsp
Garlic Paste (Lahsan)      1 tbsp
Green Chilli (Crushed) (Haree Mirch)      1 tsp
Tomato (Timatar)      3 large
Red Chilli Powder (laal mirch powder)      1 tsp
Turmeric (haldi)      1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder      1 tsp
Coriander Powder (khusk dhania powder)      1 tbsp
Liver (kaleji)      300g
Salt (Namak) as per taste
Kasuri Methi      1 tbsp

Mutton Raan Roast Ingredients:
Garlic (lehsan)(pisa howa)       2 tbsp
Ginger (Adrak)(pisa howa)       1 + ½ tbsp
Apple Cider Vinegar (Saib ka sirka)       4 tbsp
Oil (tail)       ¼ cup
Black Pepper (kali mirch)       2 + ½ tbsp
Salt (Namak)      1 + ½ or as per taste
Mutton Raan      3 kg
Oil (tail)      ½ cup
Water (paani)      ½ cup
Green Chilli, Onion, and Tomatoes for Garnishing
