Optimus Prime Suite | Transformers Series (Original Soundtrack) by Steve Jablonsky

I feel like with Rise of the Beasts, more people have grown to love Optimus as a character and what he represents for many fans around the globe, thanks in part to Peter Cullen's iconic voice for the character. One of the best themes in the Transformers series as a whole is the theme for Optimus himself, defined by a relatively simple four note motif played on either soft piano or gentle strings. It's used in very morose, vulnerable moments throughout the series, and is also used in emotional scenes with Sam and other human characters in the series, making Optimus' theme apply to the emotional relations and conflicts between the characters as well. His theme was absent in Age of Extinction minus a minor reprisal, and comes back in all it's glory in The Last Knight once he regains sense of himself. Optimus' theme isn't used much compared to the more bombastic anthems and action tracks of the series, but I believe that it's one of the most poignant and important themes in the series for how deeply rooted in the emotional core it is. Much like Prime himself, it's a deeply passionate and empathetic piece of music.
