Tehran International Book Fair was finally held in person after the onset of coronary heart disease, and of course, with the wave of prices and the existence of a virtual book fair in Tehran, it was not as prosperous as in previous years. The truth is that books, like everything else, were much more expensive than before, and book fair discounts could not make most people come home with bags full of books. Another issue that stood out was the increase in religious publishers at the fair, who often did not have many customers but their presence was noticeable. Another new issue was the presence of women in chadors at the book fair, who here and there reminded others of the hijab and caused conflicts.
Despite all this, the book fair, like many years ago, made some publishers breathe a sigh of relief and sell, hoping to continue.
