Own a Piece of PlayStation History - for $70,000

https://www.timeextension.com/news/20...

Someone is selling the PlayStation Experience trailer used by Sony back in 2006 to promote its PSP handheld and PS2 home console (thanks, IGN).

The trailer was spotted on Facebook Marketplace by Reddit user ArguingMaster, and is festooned with related branding, including posters for ATV Offroad Fury 4, SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 2, and NBA 07.

Seller Arthur Vandelay says the trailer was "out of service for several years" and was suffering from dry rotted tyres and other problems when it was retrieved from storage.

Despite its rather rough shape, it still makes for an impressive piece of PlayStation history – but it remains to be seen if anyone will actually bite for the $70,000 asking price.

Sony Takes Down PS5 Pro Video - Leaks Confirmed

https://wccftech.com/sony-takes-down-...

Remember last month's PS5 Pro video from YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead? This video is no longer available following a copyright strike from Sony.

We reported on the video from the known tech YouTuber following its release last month. In the video, the YouTuber shared a document about Sony's upgraded PS5 model that offered new details and information about the console. Interesting new details include substantially faster rendering, up to three times improved ray tracing performance, and Sony's rumored own upscaling tech - PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR). According to Eurogamer's Digital Foundry, this upscaling tech can allow for greatly improved image quality of existing PS5 titles. In addition, the outlet suggested that the Pro model will offer 1.2GB of additional RAM for games.

Fast forward one month and the video from 'Moore's Law is Dead' is no longer available on YouTube. "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Sony Interactive Entertainment", the link to the video now reads. While this doesn't necessarily mean that the information or details mentioned in the video were the real deal, recent reports, and rumors do seem to indicate that the leaked document was legit. Over the weekend, The Verge's Tom Warren said that the PS5 Pro is real, and Sony is reportedly asking developers to get their games ready over the summer.

PS5 Pro Ultra Boost Mode Revealed - The PS5’s Secret Weapon - Sony is Improving Every Game No Matter What

https://kotaku.com/ps5-pro-leaks-spec...

Some of these improvements will require a patch, while others, like a new “ultra-boost” mode, can increase frame rate and resolution even without developers releasing official updates.

According to documents reviewed by The Verge and Insider Gaming, “enhanced” for PS5 Pro can mean:

A game has a completely new PS5 Pro graphics mode that supports PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) 4K upscaling and ray-tracing at 60fps

A game has a higher fixed resolution cap at 30fps (e.g. 2160p up from 1440p)

A game has a higher maximum target resolution (e.g. between 1280p and 2160p, up from 1080p and 1440p)

A game adds ray-tracing support

If that sounds a little too technical, basically it means that there’s no one definition for the “enhanced” for PS5 Pro label. It could be a whole new graphical experience or just a game occasionally hitting 2160p.
