SkyView is such an amazing augmented reality (AR) app (iOS/Android). A great app for people interested in astronomy, astrology or just want to learn more about those little white dots in the night sky.

I should have used it a long time ago but I am happy that I did it today. In fact, I wasn't really able to enjoy as well, because the iPad has a bad low-light camera capability. Now that I own the OnePlus 6, I was able to make the best of this app.  It wasn't the perfect date because there were quite a few clouds in the sky but I didn't care, I really wanted to try it out.

This is an immersive AR educational app that allows you to learn more about the stars or constellations in the sky by observing the sky directly. It uses augmented reality (AR) to place the augmented stars at approx. where the real ones are located, so you can see where they are and learn more about them.

It's an AR app like no other, one that everyone should try. I never knew where Mars is located until I used this app. I knew that I always wanted to know, but this app encouraged me to take that small step and know where it is, and not just that, in such a fun and immersive way that only possible using augmented reality.

I used the free version of the app, you can download it for free here:
