Iranian-American journalist Masih Alinejad has been exiled and in hiding from Iran’s assassins since 2009, for critiquing the Islamic Republic’s brutality against women, according to Sky News host Piers Morgan.

“As a woman who grew up under Sharia Law, showing my hair was a crime that can get me killed – I have the right to be scared of Sharia Law, to be scared of Islamic Republic,” Ms Alinejad told Sky News host Piers Morgan.

“Women are on the frontlines and chanting ‘women like freedom’, they want to overthrow gender apartheid," she said.

“I’m very loud against terrorists, I’m not scared of them but let’s be very honest, it’s scary when you see a man with a loaded gun in front of your house trying to kill you.”
