Hundreds of thousands of residents in Jeddah have had their lives uprooted after Saudi authorities demolished entire neighbourhoods ahead of a redevelopment project.
Residents were handed “surprise” eviction orders, with some given as little as 24 hours’ notice, before electricity and water services were cut off
