Unstable weather has affected the entire country. The extreme weather conditions were shocking in their scale and impact, including hail, lightning strikes, severe thunderstorms and flooding.
In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, electricity and water supplies were cut off in many buildings and neighborhoods.
Also, the Onpassive metro station in Dubai suffered flooding after heavy rains. Water from outside the station rushed in, causing major disruptions.
