A large crowd of mourners gathered in the Iranian city of Tabriz Monday after a helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and seven others crashed Sunday while crossing mountain terrain in heavy fog. As Iran’s Islamist rulers and government loyalists observe five days of mourning for the death of Raisi, many Iranians who oppose the Islamic Republic have been celebrating his demise at home, abroad and on social media.
