My wife and I have lived here for over one year. We couldn't be happier with our experience. Apartment hunting in the Bay Area isn't easy, but if you have the opportunity to check out a unit here, don't sleep on it. We fell in love with ours the moment we walked in as prospective tenants. What makes Bel Aire awesome: Great location, close to the lake, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, bars, and restaurants.
Ming, the onsite property manager, is more of a friendly and helpful neighbor than anything else. He's gone out of his way to help my wife and me with things around the apartment. The guy's a saint, and we're lucky for that. The apartment complex is family-owned. Robert is an incredibly kind and understanding landlord. You'll often see him watering the plants or working with contractors to upgrade the outside amenities. The courtyard and newly upgraded rooftop lounge are great places to hang, drink a cup of coffee, and read a book. Since working from home due to COVID, we've found ourselves hanging at the rooftop more often to relax...Jose

Bel Aire apartment complex is an oasis in Oakland! The location is perfect. Lake Merritt is right down the street as well as Whole Foods and many restaurants, bars and shops... amidst it all Lee is a very quiet street. I lived in a one bedroom for two years. The built in storage, finishing and lighting were perfect for my needs. The huge windows facing the palm trees made me feel like I had a sunny beach spot in the middle of Adams Point. Robert is a fantastic landlord; he is thoughtful and kind. Ming is the onsite super. Very attentive and so helpful anytime I needed anything....Jamie
