Washing your Wool Stuffed dolls is easy and simple, as long as you do it gently and taking care not to felt the inner stuffing or damage your doll. Fill a tub with lukewarm water and add wool-friendly soap (I recommend Eucalan, or natural body soap, low sudsing). Gently soak the doll and let it sit in the water for a couple of hours. If the water is too dirty, then repeat. Once the water is clean, you can wash the heavily-soiled parts with a bit more soap, rubbing in the direction of the grain of the fabric (the ribs on the knit of your doll). Use clean water to rinse, but never put the doll under running water and do not change the temperature of the water.

Gently squeeze the water out, and use a clean towel to press down and squeeze as much water out as possible. Do not wring the doll. Place atop folded clean towels and lay flat to dry. This will take a couple of days. You can put your doll by a window, near a fan or gentle heat source. And you are done!

I will be writing a step-by-step with a few more tips on my blog soon. Thank you for watching! I hope this gives you courage to wash your wool-stuffed dolls. It is really simple and they come out looking so refreshed.
