The following interview with G Hannelius was originally written in Swedish, and translated with Google translate...........

How important is fashion and style for you, G?....

I like fashion very, very much. I think it's great fun to experiment with clothes and styles. It's always fun to combine different clothes.

How similar is your taste in clothes, to your character Avery on Dog With A Blog?....

The series is my personal role a bit more daring than I am - but we are equal in other ways. We like the classic and preppy clothes both, but I'm a little more casual in real life.

How much do you like to personalize clothes and make them unique?.....

I love to play with fashion and looking at different lookar - but I do not do sewing or something. I prefer to personalize the look with accessories, such as some funky jewelry or a cool belt. Yes, I love nail art too. I think nail art is the perfect accessory for every outfit!

Why is nail art so fun?....

I love nail art because it is a great way for people to express themselves. You can create anything on your nails, which is incredible when you think about it! I love the way you can personalize a design and make it your own.

When did you start with nail art for the first time?....

I've always liked nail care. I used to see on lessons in Nail Care on YouTube when I was little and practiced until I got better and better. I love being on film, and I love nail art, so I decided to start my own online courses. My first video came out on YouTube about three years ago - and since then I just continued.

What gives you inspiration for your nail art?....

My inspiration comes from many different things. Sometimes I just sit down and sketch on a piece of paper - and then I paint it directly on my nails. Other times, maybe I'm looking at Instagram or see a picture in a magazine that gives me inspiration.

  What else gives you inspiration?....

Sometimes I look at nail art lessons on YouTube for inspiration. Or, I get inspired by other people's nail designs, but I never want to copy them exactly. If I will use inspiration from other people's fingernails, I want to rework them to make them my own.

What are your favorite nail designs right now?....

It is a difficult question because I like so many different patterns. Right now, I think floral pattern is really fun. They look very complicated, but they are easy to make and the end result is really cool.

What other patterns do you like?....

I just started drawing small strawberries on my nails and think that was really cute. Yes, and my second favorite is a chevron, or zig-zag pattern. I made a chevron pattern on Francesca Capaldi [from Dog With A Blog] recently and I really like the design. It's very simple but it looks really cool.

What tips can you give to a beginner in nail art?....

Practice makes perfect! When I started, I painted very simple designs on my nails - but I kept practicing and eventually I went on to more difficult patterns. If you really like nail art, hold on.

Do you have nail polish 24/7?....

Every two weeks, I will go a week without painting my nails. I think it's a good habit to get your nails breathe. It's the same as with makeup. One should not be wearing makeup all the time, you should let your skin breathe a little now and then.

Is it important to use expensive nail polish?....

Not at all! Most nail polish bottles contain the same ingredients, whether it's a designer brand or a brand from a store. Personally I do not need to go out and waste lots of money on expensive nail polish.

How long does it take to paint your nails?....

It depends on the pattern I want on my nails. If I make a complicated pattern, it may take one hour to complete my nails. If it's just a color, I paint my nails - with cover and all - in just five minutes.

What's the most extravagant nail pattern you have dared you to?....

There are two extravagant designs that really stands out for me. A couple of months ago went the film crew from Dog With A Blog to Disneyland to film and I wanted to create a little Disney-inspired nail art. It ended up that I had Disney princesses on my nails!

Which princesses were you with in the pattern?....

I painted Ariel, Princess Jasmine, Rapunzel, Snow White and Cinderella on my nails - and it was really cute. It was probably one of the most difficult patterns I dared me on because I had to draw tiny facial features on the nails. It was really, really cool.
