#globaltalk is a brand new event within the event of #marchintosh.
the gist: connecting old macintoshes using Appletalk and bringing their devices such as printers using localtalk/appletalk. Rummage through everyone's shared public folders and send each other some printouts to their linked printers. Sounds weird and strange? Here are my impressions after a few days of using it.
