Upgrade to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

I’ll show you How to Upgrade to Google Analytics 4 property in WordPress.
We will use the existing Universal Analytics property, and upgrade it to GA4.

We are going to keep the old Universal Analytics property right where it is.
So you will have two GA properties in parallel, just because GA4 is the future, but, it’s not yet at the same level as universal analytics.

Now you might ask, why then switch?
Well, it’s all about historic data, and getting familiar with the new GA layout, because that’s where all the new features will appear. So basically if you don’t start now, you won’t have any historic data, when Google forces you to switch to the GA4.
