Understanding Data Files in TRNSYS (Part 1 of 2)

Several TRNSYS Types use data files, also called lookup files or performance maps, to look up performance values (like cooling/heating capacity, power consumption, efficiency or COP, etc.) at different operating conditions (such as entering flow rate(s) and/or temperature of inlet streams, part-load ratio, etc). This video demonstrates how to read and interpret these data files. Several example files are shown, each with different numbers of independent variables (or input conditions) and dependent variables (or output values).
