Greg Kihn Band - The Breakup Song - ESP Ltd MH 10
Well, this isn't a guitar you'd expect to be paired with this song! But, it seems to work. I was just messing around with BIAS FX2 and some of my older presets while using my ESP Ltd MH-10. Just out of curiosity, I tried out this old preset I made. And it sounded decent! So, I decided to do a cover.
'The Breakup Song' is from The Greg Kihn Band's 1981 album 'RocKihnRoll' and is written by Greg Kihn and Steve Wright.
SIGNAL CHAIN:
GUITAR: ESP Ltd MH-10 - Bought for $145 from zZounds.com as a 'blemished' guitar (the very top of the headstock was dented). The guitar plays very well, no structural problems, and it's been a solid, reliable, axe for over a year!
AMP: My PC with Behringer UMC22 U-Phoria USB Interface
AMP SIM: BIAS FX2 with '80s Chorus Verb Flang Kihn ' preset I made
DAW: Reaper 64-bit
A/V RECORDING: OBS Studio
