Utah Mom Kouri Richins Appears in Court Ahead of Preliminary Hearing in Husband Poisoning Case

Children's author and mother Kouri Richins appeared in a Utah courtroom Monday afternoon for a brief hearing. During the hearing, prosecutors were allowed to admit additional evidence before Richins' preliminary hearing on Wednesday. The author is accused of fatally poisoning her husband with fentanyl and later writing a book about grief.
