Spaghetti with Soy Sauce

Serves 4 people

Cooking time:

15 minutes on high heat,

Ingredients:

1 pack of whole wheat spaghetti pasta,
To cook the pasta:
4L water
For the sauce:
1 large sweet yellow pepper,
1 large sweet red pepper,
1 large onion,
1 medium round courgette,
4 tablespoons sunflower oil,
2 tablespoons of sesame seeds,
120ml soy sauce.

Tips for the perfect dish:

Do not add salt to dishes containing soy sauce because the sauce itself is extremely salty.

Preparation:

Add 4L of water to a large pan and bring to the boil. When the water begins to boil, add 1 pack of whole wheat spaghetti, without breaking, and boil for about 8 minutes at high heat.

Cut the yellow and red peppers in half, remove the seeds and then slice into long, thin strips. Remove the soft inner part of the courgette and chop into strips of a similar size to the peppers. Chop the onion into semicircle slices.

When the spaghetti is cooked, drain and rinse once in cold water.

Return the saucepan to the cooker and add 4 tablespoons of sunflower oil. When the oil is hot, add the chopped onions. When the onions become translucent, add the 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds.

Then add the sliced red and yellow peppers. Sauté all the ingredients for another 3 minutes. Then add the sliced courgettes and sauté all the ingredients for another minute before adding the drained pasta. Last of all, add the soy sauce and then remove the pan from the stove. Serve immediately.
