Olim Giving Back: Smiles for Soldiers! 🇮🇱❤
Our amazing Post-Aliyah team recently volunteered with Smiles for the Kids, an organization founded and run by inspiring Olim since October 7, to bring smiles to some incredible soldiers and evacuated families. Smiles for the Kids is a grassroots initiative operating in Modiin, Israel, with a mission to bring happiness and comfort to the families of soldiers and those impacted by the ongoing war.
In the wake of the tragic events of October 7 and the call-up of 350,000 soldiers, it became apparent that this was not a short-term conflict, and our soldiers would be away for extended periods, some for months on end.
We grilled and cooked a delicious meal for our brave soldiers.
Not only is this a delicious story, but it highlights the incredible spirit of our Olim community, always ready to lend a helping hand and give back to the land they now call home.
