"My son has nothing to do with Monday's car accident in Hosapet," Minister R Ashok said. Speaking about the incident in Bangalore, Ashok told the media:

Fonseka at Hospet. We have nothing to do with the car accident that took place on the 10th. Ashok clarified. Speaking on Thursday in Bengaluru, he denied the allegation of the son but was curious as to why the son was not present at the time of the incident.

On Monday (Feb 10), a car coming from Hampi to Bangalore (KA 5W0357) collided with a speeding car at Mariammannahalli Thanda, Ravi Naika (18), which was speeding.

Sachin (27), who was in a car, died on the way to hospital. The car was completely shattered in the crash. An FIR has been lodged by the police station of Mariamman's village.
