The European Weightlifting Championships open
The European Weightlifting Championships open in Yerevan.
The opening ceremony took place today with a historical overview on Armenia via visual effect, performances by Aram MP3 and speakers such as Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The competitions are set to be held from April 15 to 23.
380 athletes from 40 European countries will participate in the 101st European Weightlifting Championships.
The European Championship is a qualifier for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
