Is FIFA 23 Career Mode worth Playing? - 1st Month Review
As i’m sure you can guess, im a big FIFA career mode fan. I’ve played the mode for almost 20 years, and i’ve played FIFA 23’s almost every day since the game released.
But how is the mode? Is it still fun after all these years? What about the bugs? What things still need improving?
I’m gonna try to answer all of these questions in todays video.
So, is FIFA career mode playable? I’d say yes. Theres a few big bugs, including the dynamic potential decreasing every season and the match sharpness being stuck at -1, but neither of these have really affected my enjoyment. If i’d played 10 seasons i might have a different opinion, but in the 5 or so i’ve played it wasnt too bad.
When the game had only been out a few weeks, i asked my community what they thought of the game at that point. This was just before the biggest bugs were found, and only 13% of people said they didnt enjoy it.
With over half giving it a ⅘ rating, 6% said it was the best fifa ever!
But how is the mode?
Still very similar
Good if you like developing young players
Bad if you like realism from the AI
Is it still fun after all these years?
The same things are fun, if you didnt like them on last years game you wont like this years
Some issues are still there
No realism with transfers
Budgets getting too big
Players losing 20 sprint speed a year
Serie B being added is nice
Really needs new leagues/teams to make new experiences
What about the bugs?
-1 Sharpness bug is probably only visual, ive not noticed it
Dynamic potential decreases every season
What things still need improving?
More teams/leagues
More indepth systems for academy / reserves
Real rules/restrictions for leagues
Better AI
Transfers
Squad building
Tactics (only ever play the default ones)
Managers moving etc
