Pasdaran Street is the name of one of the long streets in the east of Tehran, which was called Saltanatabad Street before the 1978 revolution.
This street, which has a north-south direction, is the border between districts 3 and 4 of Tehran municipality and its north is located in district 1 of Tehran municipality. Pasdaran Street, south of Hemmat Highway, starts from Shariati Street at an intersection called "Zarabkhaneh Intersection", reaches "Ekhtiarieh Intersection" and "Pasdaran Intersection" (intersection of Dolat Street) in the middle of the road, and then passes through Nobniad Square and Pasdaran Bridge. , Enters District 1 of Tehran Municipality and after crossing the "Farmaniyeh Crossroads", Aghdasiyeh Highway and Niavaran Park, leads to Niavaran Square in its northernmost part.
This street with a length of about 9 km from Zarabkhaneh intersection to Gol Nabi street is one-way to the north, then it is two-way to Nobniad square. After that, it is one-way to the south from Nobniad Square to Aqdasiyeh intersection, and finally it is two-way from Aqdasiyeh intersection to Niavaran square.
خیابان پاسداران نام یکی از خیابان های طولانی شرق تهران است که قبل از انقلاب ۱۳۵۷ خیابان سلطان آباد نامیده می شد.
این خیابان که جهت شمال به جنوب دارد حد فاصل مناطق 3 و 4 شهرداری تهران و شمال آن در منطقه 1 شهرداری تهران واقع شده است. خیابان پاسداران، جنوب بزرگراه همت، از خیابان شریعتی در تقاطعی به نام «چهارراه ضرابخانه» شروع و در میانه راه به «چهارراه اختیاریه» و «چهارراه پاسداران» (تقاطع خیابان دولت) می رسد و سپس از میدان نوبنیاد می گذرد. و پل پاسداران ، وارد منطقه یک شهرداری تهران می شود و پس از عبور از «چهارراه فرمانیه»، بزرگراه اقدسیه و پارک نیاوران، در شمالی ترین قسمت آن به میدان نیاوران منتهی می شود.
این خیابان به طول حدود 9 کیلومتر از چهارراه ضرابخانه تا خیابان گل نبی به سمت شمال یکطرفه و سپس به سمت میدان نوبنیاد دو طرفه است. پس از آن از میدان نوبنیاد تا چهارراه اقدسیه به سمت جنوب و در نهایت از چهارراه اقدسیه تا میدان نیاوران دو طرفه است.
