The world is crumbling. The Swarm has corrupted the Coalition’s robot army and is descending upon human cities. With danger closing in, Kait Diaz breaks away to uncover her connection to the enemy and discovers the true danger to Sera – herself.
In my opinion, Gears 5 has the best campaign in the series since Gears of War 2 (still the best). The story has some real meat to it, the open world sections and side missions aren't that deep but fun enough to not feel tacked on. They clearly tried new things here, and it works for the most part. The game is absolutely beautiful and feels buttery smooth. It's definitely worth a try, especially since you only need to pay $2 to play it with the game pass. $2!!!!!!!!! This is not a sponsored freaking vid, it's just that good of a deal. I can't get over that.
