The Honda Civic EP3 was sold in various markets around the world in different varieties. Japan got the hottest version of the famous hot hatch bread van. The UK market got the next best version with the K20a2 engine and the USA got the watered down Civic Si. All of these variations got specific optional extras and different specifications based on where they were sold in the world.
The major options and info come from the Japanese variation of the EP3 Type R. The C package and the Honda Access options gave the JDM cars the most choice when speccing the car. The US EP3 Si had an $11,000 optional extra by Honda Factory Performance that gave the car a new look inside and out with carbon fibre effect pieces in the interior and a full body kit and decals on the exterior. The UK Premier Edition cars were only built because Honda didn’t sell too many JDM Facelift EP3’s. That is why you see them with the red and black Recaro seats.
