MUHARRAM / تاسوعا عاشورا در مشهد TASOUA ASHOURA IN MASHHAD IMAM REZA SHRINE IRAN 2023 🇮🇷 ایران
Muharram is the most important month for muslims. About 1500 years ago, Imam Hossein and his family and 72 members of his companions, were killed by Yazid army, the king of time.
When Hazrat Abbas, the faithful brother of Imam Hussain, went to the Euphrates River to fetch water for children and women, the Yazid army surrounded him and cut off both of his hands and then martyred him. For this reason, the ninth day of Muharram, i.e. Taswa, is attributed to Hazrat Abul Fazl al-Abbas.
After the war with these innocents, they speared the severed heads of Imam Hussain and his companions and displayed them in the city of Sham, and captured their women and children, and even pulled the earrings from the children's ears, and did not give water to an infant, and tore his throat with a three-branched arrow! Karbala incident is a very sad and heinous crime! For this reason, every year in the month of Muharram and Safar, Muslims mourn for about two months to keep alive the memory of Imam Hussain's (pbuh) uprising against oppression and his steadfast sister Zaynab (pbuh) and to follow the path of the family of pure imams.
Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) said:
"If you don't have religion and don't fear doomsday, at least be free in your world.
اگر دین ندارید و از قیامت نمی ترسید لااقل در دنیای خود آزاده باشید!
Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 45, p. 51."
Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) also, after all the ordeals, in her speech at the Yazid Assembly in the city of Sham, said:
"I saw nothing but beauty!
به خدا سوگند که جز زیبایی، چیزی ندیدم!"
I suggest you read about the history of Karbala and the personality of Shia imams, especially the third imam of Shiites, Imam Hussain (AS), because Hussain is the light of guidance and the ship of our salvation!
