Hi friends, today we are making a highly popular food in Iran that is used in sandwiches and pizza and has been adapted to local tastes. It is Roast Beef, but it's not precisely the Roast Beef you are familiar with.

It is easy to prepare & tasty, but it does take some patience to cook properly.

So, please join me in making an Iranian Roast Beef sandwich on today's episode!

Ingredients List:

• 3 Pounds of Beef (round or top roast or bottom roast & sirloin)
• 1 Onion
• 3 or 4 Cloves of Garlic
• 1/2 Bell Pepper
• 1 Medium Carrot
• Small bunch of Parsley & Cilantro
• Persian Pickled Cucumber (Khiar Shoor) - optional topping
• Choice of Bread

Sauce

• 6 ounces or 170 grams of mushroom
• 30 grams of butter
• 1 1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese or Cheddar
• 1 Cup Half and Half or heavy cream (optional)
• 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
• Couple of tablespoons of cooking oil
