گنبد سلطانیه در جنوب غربی کهن دژ قرار دارد. این بنا در زمان سلطان محمد خدابنده در سال های 704 تا 712 هجری قمری ساخته شد و دارای 8 رواق مرتفع و حدود 50 حجره است! گنبد این بنا به وزن 200 تن و بر روی ستون هایی به مساحت 50 متر مربع قرار گرفته است.
