THE HONK BAND FROM LAGUNA BEACH

The HONK Band emerged from Laguna Beach in 1972 with the legendary Five Summer Stories movie soundtrack.  This 6-piece rock/jazz/folk ensemble has produced recordings for Twentieth Century Records, Epic Records, and Hip'o'Select Records.  We toured with the Beach Boys and Loggins & Messina and shared the stage with Santana, Chicago, Jackson Browne, Eddie Money, Poco, Ziggy Marley, Jimmy Buffet, and other fine acts.  After an 8-year hiatus, HONK began performing "reunion concerts" in 1983 and has continued to appear at least once annually ever since with the same 6 members:  Beth Fitchet Wood (vocals, guitar), Steve Wood (keyboards, vocals), Richard Stekol (guitar, vocals), Tris Imboden (drums), Will Brady (bass, vocals), and Craig Buhler (sax, clarinet, flute).
