Did Rex Heuermann Kill Heather Young?
Rex Heuermann is charged with 4 of the 11 victims found at Gilgo Beach in 2010. For 14 years, I've felt whoever did the horrific crimes likely killed other places.
When I found out Heuermann spent a lot of time in VA, SC and Vegas, I looked into unsolved homicides there, especially of sex workers. When I saw that Heuermann testified in a 2018 civil deposition that he sometimes drives to Cocoa Beach, FL, I looked into cases there. Heather Young's murder stood out to me right away.
August 2010 Heather was brutally murdered, left in a hotel parking lot in Orlando, FL, so bad her son couldn't even ID her at first. Heather was found in between Gilgo victims Megan waterman June 2010 and Amber Costello Sept 2010. We'll look into a glaring piece of evidence that may tie Heuermann to Heather's murder and why Heuermann may have been in the Orlando area at the time.
