Armenian Gata | Traditional Armenian ...

~ Ingredients ~

2 eggs - Keep 1 yolk for egg wash
100 g sugar
150 g unsalted butter
230 g yogurt (1 cup)
1 tsp baking powder
~ 400 g all purpose flour + extra for dusting and incorporating into the dough
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 packet of active dry yeast (~ 2 tsp)

Filling (Khoriz)
100 g All purpose flour
100 g sugar
50 g unsalted butter
