Listen and learn about a day in the life of a Roman Legionary, stationed at the city of Chester when it used to be a Roman fort.
Children will learn what a typical day was like, from the sleeping conditions and meals to the tough training exercises.
The video is fully voice-acted, and features sound effects and visuals to bring the reading to life.
Children could sit and make notes of key information or you could use it to set the scene before a writing activity
This resource is also available in paper form if your children preferred to read about the events within.
